Our 2nd annual fast begins Sunday, January 8, and ends Saturday, January 28.  We are asking every person that attends Glad Tidings to consider participating in this church-wide corporate fast. We’d like to see 500 or more believers involved in this time of fasting and prayer. For a 21 day period, we will ask you to select at least one of the days to fast one full day. On Sunday morning, January 29, we will conclude the fast celebrating God’s awesome presence! If you can fast more than one day, that will be a personal decision between you and God. If you are willing to participate, please fill out the covenant pledge (pick one up at Volunteer Central) and place it in the offering bucket or return it to Volunteer Central in the Glass Foyer. For any additional information, please see Pastor or Sister Patty Perry.

There are several fasting options for you to consider:
  1.  A full fast where you drink only liquids.
  2. “Daniel Fast” is where you eat no meat, no sweets, and no bread. You can drink water and juice, eat fruits and vegetables.
  3. Partial fast is where you fast from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Some say “sunrise to sunset.

Whichever option you choose, just remember that it is the attitude of a heart
sincerely seeking Him to which God responds with a blessing.
