Meet GT's iServe Superstars!

Glad Tidings Church is taking this opportunity to honor those who labor among us! We appreciate your dedicated service to the Lord.

This week our iServe Superstar is Diane Crawford!

Diane serves tirelessly in our Pre K/4yr. old class three out of four Sunday’s per month. She does an excellent job of teaching our youngest class God’s Word. She loves the kids and they love her. Thank you Diane for your faithfulness to Children’s Ministries. We love and appreciate you so much.

World Impact

Glad Tidings Church coming together in prayer for the nations...

Each week, this section of our newsletter will focus on prayer for the unreached people around the globe. We will travel the world over, nation by nation.

Join us this week as we pray for Bhutan. We've included a little information below to consider as you pray for the people of this nation.

Bhutan:

• Has a population around 708,500.*
• The state religion is Buddhism. Other religions are barely tolerated; proselytism and incitement to convert are illegal. Church buildings are not allowed.*
• Bhutan is one of the world's least evangelized nations.
• Bhutanese who become Christians face the loss of citizenship and other benefits, such as free education, health care, employment, and loss of access to electricity and water.

Lifting the Limits

John 4:9

The Samaritan woman said to him, "You are a Jew and I am a Samaritan woman. How can you ask me for a drink?" (For Jews do not associate with Samaritans).

It was unheard of for Jesus, a Jew, to even talk to a Samaritan woman. But He didn’t care about that. He was there to minister and to bring healing and wholeness to this woman who was broken by her past choices in life. She was the type of woman who, in our day, might be avoided for the kind of life she lived. Yet Jesus saw beyond where this woman was, and knew what she could be. He didn't see a label or a limit placed by society, but a heart in need of love. Jesus risked His reputation for the sake of this “Samaritan” whom the other disciples would have just passed by.

It is by love that people will know about the salvation and deliverance available to them in Jesus Christ. And it is that limitless love which compels us to reach out when others would quickly run out.

We have the choice every day to ignore the hurting and stay in our comfort zone, or we can be like Jesus, and take the limits off.

Be a limit lifter!
